FAQs
How do I access the event online?
Delegates who have registered for the online event will be sent relevant links and further information a few days prior to the Symposium.
Where is the in-person event being held?
The Symposium will be held at the The Forest, The University of Tasmania, Hobart. The Forest is at 83 Melville Street in Hobart's CBD, with the main entrance beneath the heritage-listed glass dome. The Symposium will run on Levels 1 and 2 which are accessible via lifts and stairs.
Getting from the Airport to the City
Melville Street is right in the CBD, so any of the taxi, Uber, or SkyBus options will get people very close to the door. Taxis and Ubers can drop off directly outside. If people are taking SkyBus, the Elizabeth Street stop in the CBD is the nearest and only a short walk to The Forest.
SkyBus provides express airport transfers between Hobart International Airport and Hobart City from around $23 one way. Tickets can be bought online, via the SkyBus app, at kiosks near the baggage carousels, or from the driver.

Can I cancel my registration?
Registration cancellations must be made in writing via email to admin@adcet.edu.au. Cancellations received up until two weeks before the symposium, 10 June 2026, will be refunded less 25% for administration and processing fees. No registration refunds will be made after this date.
Can I transfer my registration?
Registrations can be transferred to another person in your organisation, if advised in writing up to one day prior (23 June 2026) to the symposium.
Do presenters have to register?
Yes, we request that presenters register.
Will I have access to the recordings?
All participants who are registered online or in-person will have access to all the recordings for three months following the event, at which time the recordings will be made public. The presentation slides and any other related resources will also be made available.
What disability access options do you provide?
All of the accessibility information can be found on our Disability Access page.
