ADCET is delighted to invite Higher Education or VET students to apply for one of 10 sponsorships to attend the ADCET Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium 2026, Australia's premier event bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers, and students to explore innovative approaches to inclusive education.

We are committed to ensuring diverse student voices and lived experience are central to our discussions about inclusive education. Whether you live with disability, are studying teaching, education or learning design, or simply have a passion for inclusive practice this is an opportunity for you to contribute valuable perspectives, learn more about the implementation of UDL and network with experts.

Format: Both in-person and online attendance options available

In-Person Attendance: 5 fully sponsored registrations for students located in Hobart (Please note: travel and accommodation expenses are not included)
Online Attendance: 5 fully sponsored registrations for students nationwide

To apply for one of the sponsored positions, you are required to provide:

A brief statement (150 words maximum) explaining your interest in UDL and how attending this symposium will benefit your studies or future career
Your current program of study and institution
Whether you're applying for in-person (Hobart residents only) or online attendance
