Student Access

Post-secondary education providers are obliged to ensure that people with disability are given the same opportunity as everyone to access education, including admission services, enrolment and the physical environment. Attention to these matters is not only a legal requirement, it can also enhance the student experience and subsequent learning potential for students with disability.

As a disability practitioner you may be called on to advise or assist your institution to ensure that they are meeting their student access obligations and the needs of their students with disability.
