Resources to support VET students with disability
ADCET collaborated with the VET (Vocational Education and Training) and disability sectors to create resources helping small to medium Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) become more inclusive of people with disabilities and mental health conditions.
These resources include practice guides, practice illustrations, templates and supporting resources across topics such as pre-enrolment, enrolment, transition from school, reasonable adjustments, participation and accessibility, progress and completion and practice improvement and reflection.

The resources are based on the 2020 Review of the Disability Standards for Education 2005 and the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), analyses of recent research and industry reports, the experiences of VET staff and practitioners, and guidance from sector specialists. The Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations funded this resource.
