ALTITUDE Summit 2026 - AHEAD Ireland Conference Recordings

AHEAD Ireland's ALTITUDE Summit took place on 19-20 March 2026 at the Convention Centre Dublin, bringing together leaders, educators and professional staff from further education and higher education to advance Universal Design across the tertiary sector.

This year's conference covered three main themes:

• leadership and governance models that move Universal Design from policy to practice
• practical application across the four pillars of the ALTITUDE Charter
• research that evaluates and strengthens Universal Design implementation.

You may well recognise one of the keynote speakers - Professor Paul Harper, who needs little introduction to many in the Australian tertiary sector. Paul has spent years championing inclusive education and is one of our most consistent and generous advocates for a sector that genuinely works for people with disability. It was great to see him take the stage at an international conference of this calibre.

The recordings are now available on YouTube, and there is plenty here worth watching whether you are working on institutional governance, exploring Universal Design in your teaching, or looking for research to inform your practice.
