The role of inherent requirement statements in Australian universities ( NCSEHE)
This NCSEHE funded report outlines the legislative, historical and policy context for the development of inherent requirements, and major related issues. Also, information on some influential work by early‐adopter institutions, and the relevance – especially in some fields of education (FOE) – of standards set by external bodies and related professional entry requirements. The report concludes with a brief discussion of student placements and internships, and disclosure or non‐disclosure of conditions, as these might relate to inherent requirement statements.
