Event details
Newcastle Business School and the Newcastle School of Law and Justice, together with Legal Centre NSW, invite you to the launch of a landmark national study on the experiences of students with invisible disabilities in Australian universities.
Funded by the Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success (ACSES), this is the first comprehensive national investigation to connect student experience, staff capacity and institutional systems. Drawing on large-scale surveys, interviews, focus groups and co-design workshops across the sector, it provides critical new evidence on how universities can move beyond fragmented and reactive approaches to accessibility. It identifies the systemic barriers that continue to shape participation and success, and sets out a clear, holistic roadmap towards more inclusive, responsive and accountable institutional practice.
This is also a chance to connect with the research team and learn about the next steps towards more inclusive higher education systems.
