ADCET UDL Symposium 2026: Opening

The 2026 ADCET Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium, MC'd by Samantha Poulos, opened with a Welcome to Country by Niara Mansell, who shared the deep cultural significance of kunanyi/Mt Wellington and the enduring connection of Palawa people to Country, culture and community.

University of Tasmania Deputy Vice-Chancellor Natalie Brown then welcomed delegates, highlighting the importance of UDL as a proactive approach to creating inclusive learning environments and encouraging participants to share practical strategies for improving access, participation and success for all learners.
