ACSES: Australian Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education
The Australian Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education provides guidance for implementing AI technologies in the sector, with a central focus on equity and supporting students from equity-bearing groups, including people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The Framework aligns with key policy documents, including the Australian Universities Accord Final Report and emphasises the need for ongoing critical discussion about the environmental, moral, ethical, and intellectual property implications of AI in education. Developed by Jason Lodge as part of the ACSES Visiting Scholarship Program. (December 2025)
