ADCET is excited to announce we won the Educational Website of the Year at the Centre for Accessibility Australia awards night in Fremantle last Friday, 19 November. The Awards are a national celebration of organisations, designers, developers and content creators who are making efforts to implement accessibility in their digital resources. Thank you to one of our Advisory committee members, Jackie Weinman, Curtin University for accepting the award on our behalf.
ADCET is also proud to announce our very own Assistive Technology Project Officer, Darren Britten, has been nominated as a Champion for Change for going above and beyond to ensure tertiary education staff and students have access to expert advice about all things assistive technology.
This week ADCET, in conjunction with the NDCO, are inviting you to join us for the UDL in Tertiary Education launch on the International Day of People with Disability, Friday 3 December.
