Accessible Personas Resource Collection
The University of Technology Sydney has developed a collection of accessible personas to help staff understand the diverse experiences of students with disabilities and access requirements. Co-created with students who have lived experience of disability, the resource features eight detailed personas representing students with conditions including anxiety and depression, colour vision deficiency, hard of hearing, medical condition (endometriosis), neurodivergent (ADHD and autism) and vision loss. Each persona outlines specific accessibility requirements and common frustrations students may encounter during their learning journey, providing practical insights for designing inclusive courses.
