FAQs

How do I access the event online?

Delegates who have registered for the online event will be sent relevant links and further information a few days prior to the Symposium.

Where is in-person event being held?

The Symposium will be held at the Susan Wakil Health Building (D18), The University of Sydney, Western Avenue, Camperdown. The building is accessed from Western Avenue and will have university signage outside as well as some specific symposium signage. The symposium will run on Levels 3 and 4 which are accessible via lifts and stairs.

How to get there

The symposium will run on Levels 3 and 4, which are accessible via lifts and stairs.

Susan Wakil was previously the Victor Coppleson building – shown as both on Google Maps.

The University of Sydney provides a Campus Map to assist with directions, information for the Susan Wakil Health Building along with details on getting to the University of Sydney campus

Train:

The closest train stations to the University of Sydney are Redfern and Central. Redfern station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the Susan Wakil Health Building (SWHB), and Central is slightly further approximately 25-30 minutes. There are frequent buses that run from Central Station.

Bus:

Frequent buses run from Central station to the University. Closest bus stops to the SWHB are The University of Sydney Ross Street Gate and The University of Sydney, City Road.

The university also operates a free bus service that runs every 20 minutes between The University (multiple stops) and Redfern train station. Bus A and B will stop outside the SWHB.

Accessible bus for people with a disability:

We have an eight-seater minibus with full hydraulic wheelchair lift. For more details, call Campus Security on 0293513487.

Uber/Taxi:

Approximately a 10-minute drive from Central Station to SWHB.

Can I cancel my registration?

Registration cancellations must be made in writing via email to admin@adcet.edu.au. Cancellations received up until two weeks before the symposium, 11 June 2025, will be refunded less 25% for administration and processing fees. No registration refunds will be made after this date.

Can I transfer my registration?

Registrations can be transferred to another person in your organisation, if advised in writing up to one day prior (24 June 2025) to the symposium.

Do presenters have to register?

Yes, we request that presenters register.

Will I have access to the recordings?

All participants who are registered online or in-person will have access to all the recordings for three months following the event, at which time the recordings will be made public. The presentation slides and any other related resources will also be made available.
