Disability Access

We are committed to providing a fully inclusive event, and we have worked closely with the University of Sydney to ensure that access information is provided.

Staff will be positioned outside the venue from 12:00 pm on Day One and from 8:00 am on Day Two to welcome delegates and escort them to the registration desk.

Sensory-friendly lounge

There is a sensory-friendly lounge on level 3, in Seminar Room 304, which will be open for the duration of the symposium.

Assistance dogs

A grass area is available outside of the Susan Wakil Health Building, and a water bowl station will be set up in the registration area.

Orientation and Mobility

Delegates who require orientation to the venue will be able to book a time soon. We aim to have these sessions available 11 am and 12 pm on Day One and 8 am and 9 am on Day Two.

Hearing Loops

Each room will be set up with hearing loops.

Auslan interpreters

Auslan interpreters have been tentatively booked but will be cancelled if not required. We request registrants advise of their need for interpreting by 11 June 2025.

Captioning

Captioning will be provided for every session. Instructions on how to access the captions will be provided at the start of each session.

Accessibility drop off

There is a car drop-off zone in front of the Susan Wakil Building on Western Avenue.
