Professional Learning

A range of free and fee-paying professional learning opportunities about UDL are available. Some are simple introductory online courses, while others require a more significant commitment with assessment requirements. Continuous professional learning allows you to build on what you already know, and the more you learn, the more you and your learners will benefit.

Universal Design in Tertiary Education eLearning 

This UDL 3.0 eLearning program was developed with funding from the Australian Government Department of Education as an update to the earlier UDL 2.0 program. The updated program reflects the latest Universal Design for Learning framework and builds on the strong foundation established through earlier sector collaboration.

The original UDL 2.0 eLearning program was developed through a partnership between the National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program, the Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET), and TAFE South Australia. Both the original and updated programs were guided by an advisory committee and benefited from the expertise, feedback, and contributions of many tertiary education practitioners and professionals.
