The Docs with Disabilities Initiative (DWDI) works to increase disability representation in healthcare and biomedical fields through research, education, leadership development, and storytelling.
Their core goals are to: Create more inclusive educational environments for trainees with disabilities; and, Increase the number of disabled clinicians and scientists in the biomedical workforce.
