ADCET Christmas Newsletter 2025
In 2025, ADCET continued to support the tertiary education sector through a wide range of resources, guidance, professional learning and connection opportunities, delivering 18 webinars, targeted workshops, podcasts, communities of practice and personalised support through ADCET Assist. Highlights included the 2025 UDL Symposium at the University of Sydney, which brought together more than 400 participants to explore authentic assessment and learning in a digital world, alongside the launch of ADCET Academy, an updated UDL eLearning program aligned to UDL 3.0, and the new UDL Studio drop-in sessions. ADCET also celebrated sector leadership and innovation through the Accessibility in Action Awards, Disability Practice Spotlight articles, and the recognition of Jane Hawkeswood with Life Membership of ATEND. Supported by renewed Australian Government funding, ADCET has continued important behind-the-scenes work to strengthen sustainability, governance and engagement, ensuring these services remain available to the sector into the future.
