Innovation, Collaboration and Empowerment: Gateways to Information Access

Innovation is revolutionising how we create, share, and access information, breaking down barriers that have long excluded individuals with print disabilities from full participation in society. The 2026 Round Table conference will celebrate the transformative power of collaboration, bringing together technologists, advocates, educators, librarians, publishers, and people with lived experience to create solutions that transcend what any single sector could achieve alone. Through groundbreaking technological advances, creative advocacy approaches, and cross-sector partnerships, we are witnessing unprecedented opportunities to build truly inclusive information ecosystems.

Conference aims

The 2026 conference will examine how innovation and collaboration serve as gateways to empowerment, ensuring that every individual has the tools, resources, and opportunities to access information on equal terms and chart pathways toward a future where information access is not just a right, but a lived reality for all.
