STUDENT INVITATION: 2025 Universal Design for Learning Symposium

Navigating authentic assessment and learning in a digital world

ADCET is committed to ensuring diverse student voices and lived experiences are central to our discussions about inclusive education. To support this commitment, we're offering student sponsorships to the 2025 Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium, welcoming students with disability as well as those studying teaching, education, learning design, or anyone with an interest in UDL and inclusive teaching practices. This is an opportunity for students to contribute valuable perspectives, network with experts, and shape the future of authentic assessment and learning in digital environments.

We are delighted to invite students to apply for one of 10 sponsorships to attend the 2025 Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium, Australia's premier event bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers, and students to explore innovative approaches to inclusive education.

In-Person Attendance: 5 fully sponsored registrations for students located in Sydney (Please note: travel and accommodation expenses are not included)
Online Attendance: 5 fully sponsored registrations for students nationwide

To apply for one of the sponsored positions, you are required to provide:

A brief statement (150 words maximum) explaining your interest in UDL and how attending this symposium will benefit your studies or future career
Your current program of study and institution
Whether you're applying for in-person (Sydney residents only) or online attendance
