Constructing a POUR Website
POUR stands for Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust. Web accessibility is most easily achieved when people are at the center of the process. Consider principles, rather than techniques, take the center stage. It takes some effort to switch from a techniques centered mindset to a principle-centered mindset, but the end result is a site that is more usable by people with disability and not just "standards-compliant."
