Employment information: Full Time, Fixed Term to 15 February 2028. The salary range for this position is PACCT Level 5.1-5.3 of the Victorian TAFE PACCT Staff Agreement 2025
Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE (NVITAFE) is looking for a dedicated Disability Transition Officer to join their Student Success and Retention team. In this role, you'll provide support services to students with disabilities, guiding them from school and through their first 90 days at GOTAFE. You'll collaborate with schools and care teams, facilitate wrap-around support, and ensure smooth enrolment processes, making a meaningful impact on the lives of students with disabilities.

In this role, you'll provide attraction and personalised support services to students with disabilities, guiding them from school through to their first 90 days at NVIT. You'll work closely with schools, families and care teams to facilitate wrap-around support and ensure smooth, positive enrolment experiences — making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with disabilities as they transition into further education.
What you'll do
- Build relationships with schools, families and care teams to support students transitioning into NVIT
- Provide personalised attraction and support services for prospective and newly enrolled students with disabilities
- Guide students through their first 90 days, helping to ensure a smooth and supported start
- Coordinate wrap-around support and facilitate access to relevant services
- Support enrolment processes to remove barriers and enable a positive transition experience
