As an Accessibility Learning Advisor you’ll design and deliver inclusive, structured learning opportunities that empower students - particularly those with a disability - to build their academic skills, confidence and independence. You’ll provide tailored support through one-on-one consultations and workshops, while partnering with academic staff to embed accessible skill development into the curriculum and contribute to the implementation of the University’s Disability Action Plan.

In your first 6–12 months, you’ll establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, deliver high-quality learning support that responds to diverse student needs, and contribute to targeted initiatives that improve student engagement, retention and success. You’ll also help shape and evaluate learning resources and programs, using evidence-informed approaches to continuously enhance impact.

This is a role where you can make a meaningful difference—supporting students to thrive while contributing to a more inclusive and accessible learning environment. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across the University, influence practice, and grow your expertise in inclusive education, student success and learning design.

What will help you succeed

You’re passionate about helping students thrive and have experience supporting diverse learners, including students with disability, to build confidence, skills and independence. You know how to design and deliver engaging workshops, resources, and one-on-one consultations—online or face-to-face—and can partner effectively with academic staff to embed inclusive learning in the curriculum.

You’re a strong communicator, highly organised, and thrive juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of support. Evidence-informed in your approach, you use insights to improve programs and initiatives. Most importantly, you’re committed to creating equitable, accessible learning environments and bringing a proactive, student-focused mindset to everything you do.
