Equity and Inclusion Coordinator - University of Southern Queensland

Employment information: Full-time fixed-term appointment until 18 December 2026; Salary range of $100,677 to $111,325 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading

The Equity and Inclusion Coordinator is pivotal in implementing the Disability Action Plan, shaping policy development, conducting evaluation, and driving system improvements that ensure students with disability are supported to achieve their academic and personal goals. You will bring a passion for influencing institutional practice, building staff capability, and delivering meaningful outcomes for students.

Skills and Qualifications

Applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences are welcomed. To thrive in this role, you require a degree in a relevant discipline with subsequent experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in project work in an accessibility-focused role; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience as well as:

  • Knowledge of national disability strategies, legislative requirements, and emerging sector priorities.
  • Skills in research, analysis, and producing clear, high?quality reports.
  • A strong ability to bring empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for inclusion.
