Online
Event details
Higher education experts will gather to analyse the future of student equity following recent electoral changes, with particular focus on whether equity initiatives will remain central to government priorities and the Universities Accord legacy.
The discussion will examine key policy areas including the Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP), needs-based funding models, community co-design approaches, and the evolving role of the Australian Tertiary Education Commission (ATEC).
As potential policy shifts loom, the forum aims to identify strategic opportunities for universities, researchers, and community partners to collaborate on inclusive reforms that enhance access, participation, and success for equity student cohorts.
The session will provide a critical analysis of the current policy environment and explore practical pathways for stakeholders to influence the future equity agenda in Australian higher education.
