Disability Inclusion Officer - The Gordon
Employment information: Full-time ongoing. $78,122 - $83,948 p.a. plus Superannuation
As the Disability Inclusion Officer at The Gordon, you’ll support students with disability, health, or mental health conditions to access and thrive in their education. You will work closely with Staff, Students, and external providers to drive inclusive practices, coordinate reasonable adjustments, develop learning plans, and support Student success from enrolment to graduation. Help improve retention and provide a positive experience for Students.
About You:
- You will have expectational relationship building skills and be able to relate to a diverse range of people
- Relevant tertiary training/qualifications and/or extensive experience working with children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, including demonstrated knowledge of policies and legislation relating to access and equity issues effecting the interpretation and application of reasonable adjustments.
- Proven experience in conducting and documenting complex individual needs assessments and developing Individual Learning Plans for people with disability, mental health and/or medical condition in an educational setting.
