ADCET Christmas Newsletter 2023
Our Christmas newsletter provides a summary of ADCET's achievements over the year. As the festive season approaches, we extend our warmest holiday greetings to all our readers. This year has been a remarkable journey, filled with both triumphs and challenges.
One of the key highlights of the year was ADCET’s inaugural Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium. We were also extremely proud to continue our Accessibility in Action Awards for a second year. We facilitated 23 webinars and workshops, continued to provide our range of e-Learning courses plus created a new course for Secondary Education, we showcased eight Disability Practice in the Spotlight stories and added 12 new podcasts.
However, this year also brought its share of sadness with the cessation of the National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) program, and challenges posed by the lack of clarity regarding funding and the future of ADCET.
