VET Student Assistant - TasTAFE
Employment information: Part time, ongoing; $ 70,341 - $ 74,372 + super
TasTAFE are seeking a VET Student Assistant to join their team at the Devonport campus. This role is dedicated to supporting students with intellectual and cognitive disabilities, ensuring they can fully participate in the Work Education program. You will work closely with Work Education teachers to provide tailored support and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of the needs of people with disabilities in an educational setting.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in an ethical and respectful manner.
- A good level of literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
Qualifications (desirable)
- A qualification in Individual Support, Community Services, Youth Work, or School-Based Education Support.
- A valid driver’s licence.
