STUDENT INVITATION: ADCET UDL Symposium 2026

The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) is seeking to invite two current students studying in Australia to join the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium 2026 planning committee responsible for organising this event.
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Symposium is Australia's premier event bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers, and students to explore innovative approaches to inclusive education.
This opportunity is for students interested in inclusive education and Universal Design for Learning.
Commitment
You will need to be able to commit to the following:
- Attend regular online monthly meetings from January to May
- Attend weekly online meetings throughout June
- Attend a post-Symposium online wrap-up meeting
- Contribute as needed to the ongoing discussions via email
- Attend the Symposium in person or online and, where appropriate, assist with various tasks (on a voluntary basis) such as welcoming and directing participants and students, chairing sessions, participating on panel discussions, or monitoring online chat rooms
Successful applicants will have their costs covered to attend the Symposium in person or online. This will include accommodation and flights for in-person participants.
