Disability Support Officer - The University of Adelaide
Employment Information: Fixed term fulltime position for 13 months; HEO5 $82,922 - $92,203 per annum plus 17% superannuation
This role will provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for students and staff, offering timely and confidential advice across various communication channels and will support the Disability Support team through student registrations, equipment coordination, and liaison with internal departments.
The Disability Support Officer will deliver efficient administrative support, including scheduling, record management, and maintaining accurate website content. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying service enhancements and assisting with program and procedure development project support, events, and broader University initiatives to ensure inclusive and effective service delivery.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high quality, approachable, efficient and customised service in a cross-cultural and high-volume work environment
 - Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian tertiary sector and understanding of the issues facing students with particular focus on students with a disability
 - Demonstrated capacity to meet competing, and demanding deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and calm demeanour
 - Demonstrated experience in coordinating events and projects
 - Demonstrated experience in working with a high level of flexibility, with initiative problem solving skills in order to deliver a wide range of functions across a broad remit
