Manager, Student Support and Wellbeing - TAFE Queensland
Employment Information: Permanent part-time (0.8 FTE – 29 hours per week); $106,000 - $114,000 (gross) per annum
TAFE Queensland have an exciting role available as Manager, Student Support and Wellbeing, leading their Student Support team at TAFE Queensland’s Toowoomba Campus.
As the Manager, Student Support and Wellbeing, you will:
- Provide leadership and management across the Student Support and Wellbeing team and participate as a key member of the South West Region’s Senior Leadership Team; and
- Oversee and drive the operational planning and development of high-quality, trauma-informed approaches to student wellbeing, disability support and equity services to support student retention and successful educational outcomes.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practitioner in field, including developing support plans and counselling clients.
- Minimum of 5 years’ team leadership experience in government or non-government organisations in a related field.
- Experience working with First Nations students, refugee and migrant clients, and clients with disabilities.
