Thu 11 Sep 2025 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm AEST

Online

Event details

One of the most important principles of effective learning, perhaps the single most important principle, is that learners must be active participants in the learning process. Genio, formerly known as Glean, goes beyond traditional note-taking to leverage the power of how we learn. Built on learning science principles, Genio Notes offers students multiple means of engagement to enable them to become more actively engaged  in the learning process. This is done by allowing the compilation and processing of information in multiple means within a highly accessible work space that includes features to better manage executive functioning.

This session will showcase how Genio Note's features, including its ethical and strategic use of AI, has grown from being a leading assistive technology to becoming a powerfully inclusive universal study tool for academic success for all students across campus.

Genio create beautifully simple learning tools that boost knowledge, skills, and confidence. This presentation will also showcase Genio's soon to be released product called Genio Present and our new suite of services that aim to build student capability to optimise their learning.

Audience: Educators and leaders at further and higher education settings interested in equitable learning provision, increased learner engagement and student retention and success.
