Digital Inclusion Champion: Making a difference and improving access to education
Andrew Normand, Digital Accessibility Lead at the University of Melbourne, recently received the university's Professional Excellence and Innovation Award for his exceptional advocacy for digital inclusion. His work focuses on making IT systems accessible to students and staff with disability, coordinating digital accessibility activities, and providing training.

As a newcomer to the tertiary education sector, ADCET has been an enormous source of information, wisdom and support in all things education related. I’ve worked in the disability sector for over 30 years and ADCET is by far the most comprehensive and professional resource I have ever come across. The collegiality and willingness of practitioners across the country to share their knowledge and expertise is truly inspirational.
