Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards (2010)
These Standards provide the minimum accessibility requirements for people with disability for new constructions or renovations to existing buildings. The provision of accessible spaces in educational settings should however, move beyond minimum requirements, aspiring to a best practice approach using universal design principles.
