Connect50: Internship program for regional Victoria

Regional Victoria will benefit from a new internship project aimed at university and TAFE students with disability. Four Victorian regional communities,  Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Latrobe Valley, will benefit from a new employment project funded by the Victorian Government.

How it works

Connect50 is an internship scheme in regional Victoria that matches talented university and TAFE students with disability with paid roles in local businesses.

For students, it’s a chance to gain vital work experience during study. For employers, it’s a talent pipeline that helps cultivate an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

For employers it is a unique opportunity to connect with skilled and talented university and TAFE students with disability and realise the benefits of a more diverse workforce.

Engaging with Connect50 is simple. We’ll find talented students with disability and assess their eligibility. We’ll manage student and workplace briefings, provide ongoing support during the placement and assist with the feedback process once the internships are complete.
