Senior Disability Adviser - Monash
The primary purpose of the position is to manage a full-time caseload of students and act as a point of contact for Disability Support Services at other non-Clayton campuses. The Senior Disability Adviser’s role is to manage a student caseload, including some students considered ‘at risk’ by the Risk Management Group and promote student independence and self-advocacy by assessing requirements of students with a disability and coordinate the provision of a range of services and facilities.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the below and other key responsibilities:
- Provide Disability Support Services representation on University committees
- Provide sound and timely specialist advice and support for staff and students on disability matters
- Assist in the planning and successful delivery of projects relating to disability matters
- Actively participate in, develop and implement continuous improvement activities relating to practices/protocols, quality assurance standards and customer service excellence
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
