Access and Inclusion Advisor - TAFE SA
Employment status: Contract/Temp. Full-time role until 31 Dec 2024. Adelaide City campus. $68,478 - $83,594 p.a. + super.
The Access and Inclusion Advisor is responsible for the provision of specialist disability related services and information to support students with disabilities to achieve equitable participation at TAFESA. The incumbent will liaise with lecturers and other TAFE SA staff and work strategically to support the inclusion of students with disabilities at TAFESA.
To be the successful applicant, you must have:
- Essential - Experience in the provision of services for people with disabilities.
- Essential - Demonstrated high level communication skills involving cross organisational liaison.
- Essential - Demonstrated working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act and an ability to apply its intent within a complex organisation.
- Essential - Understanding of the concepts of reasonable adjustments and inherent requirements within an educational setting.
- Essential - Degree level qualification in a relevant Human Services area, i.e. Education, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or a combination of equivalent qualifications and experience.
