Event details
This workshop will be presented by IPEd (Institute of Professional Editors).
Can you spot potential accessibility issues in the material you edit? Do you know how to fix them when you do? This 2-hour workshop, presented by Julie Ganner AE (freelance editor), is designed to help you become as familiar with addressing accessibility issues as you are with correcting grammar and spelling. You will gain insights into the barriers to reading that people with print disability routinely encounter, and learn how to identify and avoid them. This interactive session will cover editing text and illustrations, with opportunities to discuss scenarios and complete exercises.
