For the 2023 Accessible Assessment Forum researchers from the Accessible Assessment ARC Linkage project will share the outcomes of two professional learning programs targeted at increasing secondary school teachers’ use of Accessible Pedagogies and Assessment for Learning practices. The forum will show how these classroom practices can support student learning and engagement, and will report on students’ experiences and outcomes. Approaches to sustaining and upscaling these effective practices within school departments and between schools will also be discussed.

The research team will be presenting initial findings from the project, along with our partners:

• Benowa, Kedron, and MacGregor State High Schools,
  Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA),
• QLD Secondary School Principals Association, and
• Speech Pathology Australia.
