ACAL's (Australian Council for Adult Literacy) 2023 National Conference will address a broad scope of critically important themes, relating to adult literacy policy, practice, research, and theory. It will provide a variety of presentation types and offer delegates an opportunity to focus on their collective concerns related to adult literacy and numeracy in Australia, discuss key issues in the field, share their work and rebuild networks.

ACAL is the national organisation that promotes adult literacy and numeracy policy and practice through providing research, advocacy, debate, and professional development to practitioners in the field. For forty-five years, ACAL has provided a forum for language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills (LLND) organisations and providers from across the country to advocate for the needs of learners and provide forums and webinars for LLND professionals.
