NDCO Webinar: The Inclusive Classroom Webinar Series
Tue 12 Oct 2021 – Thu 11 Nov 2021 AEDT
The Inclusive Classroom is a series of webinars that will aim to improve your knowledge of Microsoft accessibility features and embed use of these in your inclusive teaching practice. The sessions will be delivered by Troy Waller, learning delivery specialist and accessibility lead for Microsoft Australia Education.
The diversity of learning needs of students requires schools, VET and Universities to provide inclusive, accessible learning environments that inspire confidence and encourage independence differently for each student. In session 1, you will learn about the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, Microsoft’s vision for the Inclusive Classroom, and how technology helps personalise learning. You will also be introduced to the Ease of Access centre on Windows 10 devices.
The series is for teachers, and learning and support staff across secondary, vocational, higher education and other service providers, or for anyone with an interest in developing their knowledge and skills of Microsoft Accessibility features.
