Public consultation open - National Disability Employment Strategy

The Australian Government is developing a National Disability Employment Strategy to address the disadvantage experienced by people with disability looking for work.

The Employment Strategy will be a ten-year commitment to improve the employment outcomes for people with disability, and supporting more jobseekers with disability into long‑term, meaningful employment.

Through the Employment Strategy, the Government is looking to make meaningful changes to the way supports to jobseekers with disability are delivered, and empower employers to confidently recruit people with disability.

To inform the development of the Employment Strategy, the Government is seeking your feedback and ideas on how meaningful change can be achieved.

Your feedback is essential to help the Government ensure the Employment Strategy focuses on the issues that matter most to all Australians and is well designed to achieve positive outcomes.
