Research opportunity: Transition to university for students on the autism spectrum

Alison Nuske (PhD candidate in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University), is seeking seeking participants to take part in case studies leading to the production of a PhD thesis or other publications on the subject of transition to and first year of university for students on the autism spectrum.

The purpose of this research is to help us to better understand the barriers and facilitators to transition to university for individuals on the autism spectrum in Australia.

For further information please see attached Letter of Introduction and Information Sheet.

If you agree to assist with recruitment for this study, please forward the email template (attached below) to any students on the autism spectrum who are registered with your service.

Please feel free to share the attached Case Study Flyer within your professional networks.

Alison is still conducting an online survey and interested to hear from students on the autism spectrum, family members and university staff about their experiences of transitioning to university, or supporting an individual on the autism spectrum to transition to university in Australia. Further information on the online survey.
