Research opportunity: Transition to university for students on the autism spectrum
Alison Nuske (PhD candidate in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University), is seeking autistic students who commenced their studies in 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019, to take part in short interviews as part of a number of case studies. The findings of this research will lead to the production of a PhD thesis or other publications on the subject of transition to and first year of university for students on the autism spectrum.
The purpose of this research is to help us to better understand the barriers and facilitators to transition to university for individuals on the autism spectrum in Australia.

Alison is still conducting an online survey and interested to hear from students on the autism spectrum, family members and university staff about their experiences of transitioning to university, or supporting an individual on the autism spectrum to transition to university in Australia further information on the online survey.
