Disabilities Services Officer - Griffith

Griffith University is seeking an experienced Disabilities Service Officer (DSO) within our Disabilities Service team within Student Services who can provide high quality support to students with disabilities to enable them to reach their study goals.

The DSO works in collaboration with the broader University community to facilitate reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities to ensure inclusion and success in all learning activities.

Students with disabilities include those living with any physical, neurological, sensory, intellectual, learning disability or mental health issues. It also includes any long or short-term medical condition (e.g. cancer, broken bones). These students may be studying full-time, part-time, on-campus or online across our campuses at Gold Coast, Logan, Mt Gravatt, Nathan, South Bank, and through our Digital Campus.

In providing holistic support to students you may also need to refer students to other Student Services or to other areas of the University such as teaching and learning support or the Library.

This is a continuing, part time (80%) position based at the Gold Coast campus.
