Vacation program for students with disability

PWC Australia -  Summer 2018 Summer Vacation program is a real opportunity to get first-hand experience at the heart of our business. The program runs over three to eight weeks (length will vary across our offices) and includes full time work experience during the university break, allowing you to make an informed career decision come your graduation.

During the program, our vacationers get to do challenging and relevant work on client engagements, attend networking events, participate in a community service project with one of PwC’s Foundation Partners, and enhance your personal and professional development through coaching and mentoring.

After completing the Vacation program and finishing your degree, you may be offered a full-time graduate role with the firm.

Training & development
As a Vacationer, we don’t expect you to have the technical skills of experienced professionals. So before you start, you'll be assigned a Buddy and a Coach.

The PwC Buddy-Coach system ensures you are given support from day one, at both the peer and manager level. From your induction on arrival day, to ongoing development activities managed by the Campus team, we’re dedicated to giving you the chance to discover your potential throughout your placement and experience the real PwC learning culture.

You'll also be encouraged to join us at your local office Welcome and Connectivity events in the lead up to starting your placement, as well as both social and developmental activities and sessions during the program.

What we look for

We recruit penultimate year students (that's the year prior to you finishing) into the Vacation program, and whilst you don’t need to know exactly what you want to do when you finish university, we encourage you to take the time to understand how you can best align your skills and passions, to one of the many service lines and teams at PwC.

Whether you’re studying towards an Engineering degree or a Computer Science degree, there are extremely diverse and broad opportunities for students from non-traditional business and accounting backgrounds. We highly encourage you to learn more about our range of services and business units, so that you can find and maximise your potential at PwC.

International students will be able to apply to the Vacation program by submitting their English language tests; IELTS, OET, TOEFL iBT, PTE, or CAE). To be eligible for the Vacation program, all students must have full time working rights within Australia.

Even at entry level, we are growing leaders who can build trust in society and solve important problems. By building a people experience like no other, we differentiate ourselves from competitors.

The focus on people and leadership development means that part of our recruitment strategy is to find students who demonstrate the attributes of what we define, the PwC Professional.

During your recruitment process in the Vacation Program, you will be assessed against the competencies of the PwC Professional framework to understand more about you as an individual, your working style and development potential.
