Employ-Ability: Careers forum for students with disability

COMMUNICATION – ABILITY – RESILIENCE

Three interactive sessions will be held over three consecutive weeks. Hear directly from employers and industry experts, alumni and current students in a Q&A style panel regarding opportunities, pathways to employment, common issues impacting people with disabilities in the workplace, communication strategies and building resilience.

Can’t attend? A recording of each session will be produced
and distributed to participating universities and organisations.

SESSION ONE: COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION SHARING

This session will cover strategies to communicate abilities and
strengths, information sharing about disability and workplace
adjustments and how to build strong professional relationships.
