Reasonable adjustment: A guide to working with students with disability (VET)

This (WA) guide has been designed to help vocational education and training (VET) lecturers and assessors, disability practitioners and managers make ‘reasonable adjustment’ in teaching, learning and assessment.  It explains the concept of reasonable adjustment and its role in VET. All registered training organisations (RTOs) must refer to and comply with relevant state and Commonwealth legislation. Lecturers, assessors, managers and disability services officers (DSOs) are advised that they must also refer to the policies of the relevant RTO to determine what adjustments they may be able to offer and what processes are to be followed.
