Inclusive Teaching

Students encompass a range of abilities, cultural backgrounds, learning styles and educational needs. Teaching in order to maximise learning for the widest possible array of characteristics present within the student cohort creates an inclusive environment.

Aiming to support the development and implementation of an inclusive educational environment in which the students with disability can access, participate and ultimately succeed in postsecondary education, the sections contained within this area contain up to date information relevant to the Australian context. It includes guidelines for developing and delivering inclusive courses, support strategies for working with students, summaries of guiding legislation and standards and more.
