National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program
The NDCOs work to improve transitions for Tasmanians who have a disability or ongoing medical condition between school or the community, post-secondary education and training, and employment.
They seek to increase awareness of post-school options, supports and services and help coordinate services and linkages between schools, VET providers, higher education providers and providers of disability programs and assistance.
The Gateways website, a project of the NDCOs in Tasmania, is a web based information resource designed to assist prospective and current students, parents, carers, teachers, careers advisors, community and government agencies.
