The Student Start-Up Scholarship is a payment that helps with the up-front costs of items such as text books and specialised equipment for full-time students undertaking an approved scholarship course at a higher education institution and are receiving Youth Allowance, Austudy or ABSTUDY Living Allowance. When you make a claim for a Centrelink payment, Centrelink will decide if you can get the Student Start-Up Scholarship.
