- supporting disability staff in post-secondary education and training institutions to facilitate the appropriate support needed for students to plan their course of study at either university or at TAFE

- improving transitions for people with disabilities between tertiary education and employment

- improving linkages between VET and tertiary providers and providers of disability programmes such as CRS Australia and the Department of Family and Community Services
|
- working cooperatively with tertiary institutions to form a central information source on supports
|
- participating with State and regional level tertiary education disability networks
|
- liaising with community organisations and other bodies
|
- contributing to policy initiatives at State level and undertaking research projects
|
- producing a range of resource materials, conducting conferences, seminars and workshops
|
- advising on gaps in the provision of services and ways to overcome these problems
|
- assisting in the development of appropriate services to support graduates with disabilities in their search for employment
|
