Professional Development

• Regional and professional areas are able to apply for funding to support professional development activities. A guide has been developed that contains a checklist and funding proposal information for Professional Development funds.  An application for funding support for a PD event must be submitted at least 60 days before the event is scheduled.

International Links

• ANZSSA & NASPA Exchange. An agreement between ANZSSA and NASPA to facilitate professional exchanges in conjunction with each organisations conference program provides a wonderful opportunity for ANZSSA members to gain a valuable experience of student services (Australia) and student affairs (USA) through visits to universities in both countries, professional meetings, dialogue and cultural exchange. ANZSSA members are encouraged to get involved.
• The Confederation of Student Services in Ireland (CSSI). ANZSSA has an informal liaison relationship with the CSSI – our sister organization in Ireland.   ANZSSA members are encouraged to explore the professional development activities of CSSI and to make contact with our colleagues in Ireland.
